- ABSTRACT: In the campaign against terrorism, 6 Pakistani men were recently deported to Pakistan from the United States. This dragnet has also affected their American spouses. The men claim not to be criminals, but homeowners and businessmen who were in the process of trying to legalize their immigration status. Many had not seen their homeland for a decade or more, and feel out of place.
