QUOTE: Copyright-holding corporations are pushing new laws and computer-crippling technologies in their war on piracy. But can anything keep geeks from copying the music and movies they crave?

ABSTRACT: Industries' desire to protection the profitability of content (and in particular the entertainment industries) via copyright is seen by more and more commentators (not to mention techie 'crackers') as fundmentally in conflict with users' rights and the greater good of society. While the technical copy protection wars rage today, a legal and social revolution may be coming in the near future.
