Serbia Finds Where Bodies Are Buried, and Investigates

QUOTE: ...deputy head of the police organized crime unit in Belgrade, is amazed to find that he now leads an ever-expanding investigation into war crimes.

ABSTRACT: Yugoslavian, Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian police are investigating hundreds and hundreds of mass graves and other storage places used for war dead from Kosovo during the war.  Intentionally pursued and publicized just prior to Slobodan Milosevic's extradition for war crimes, the police authorities have not backed off from their investigations, although they admit that actually tracking down and trying whomever was responsible for the massacres may be very hard to do given the lack of information, the chaos and the total lack of any records or direct witnesses to the savagery.
