Singled Out by Two-for-One Sales
- Date: July 27, 2004
- QUOTE: "Why do grocery chains advertise and sell food items cheaper for large orders and two-for-one prices?"... Doesn't that discriminate against seniors and singles?
- ABSTRACT: Consumers are beginning the question the way some grocery stores such as Giant, and Food Lion conduct their sales promotions. Many are worried if certain promotions such as buy one, get one free, two-for-one specials and sales on bulk items are discriminating against those with limited space and budgets.
