ABSTRACT: New York City as well as California, Connecticut, Iowa, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin are planning to sue a number of companies that operate power plants that burn fossil fuels and release carbon dioxide in an effort to curb these dangerous emissions which have been connected to global warming.
