History of America and women in history.

Women in American history have been fighting for their rights. I've read about
<a href="http://www.womenhistoryblog.com/2010/05/molly-pitcher-mary-mccauley.html">Molly Pitcher</a> and other American women of the past centuries. They had to suffer because they had no choice and no voice. Are the rights of American women still not fully recognized?
