Rights Group Targets Rapper's Clothing Line

Date: October 29, 2003
Author: John J. Goldman
QUOTE: Members of a workers-rights organization alleged Tuesday that hip-hop impresario Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' clothing line is being manufactured in a Honduran sweatshop that fires workers for being pregnant.

ABSTRACT: The National Labor Committee claimed that Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' Sean John clothing company uses a Honduran sweatshop to manufacture its products. Workeers report a variety of human rights issues including forced pregnancy tests, abusive language, and filthy working conditions. A Sean John's executive said the company was unaware of such horrible conditions.
